Local History Program Series: James F. Joy - Detroit’s Railroad King

Join historian and author Nicholas Marsh as he tells the fascinating story of James F. Joy, a Detroit railroad magnate and politician and the subject of his book The Railroad King James F. Joy.  A contemporary of Vanderbilt and Gould, James F. Joy was involved in the Michigan Central and other Midwest railroads and had major impact on our region.  

Nicholas Marsh has written numerous articles and books on Michigan history and will be presenting at Bloomfield Township Public Library live via Zoom.
