Masterpiece Focus: Lady Detectives (Adult Event)

 Join us as we discuss the hit PBS Masterpiece TV series Miss Scarlet & the Duke.

We’ll talk about the show, and we’ll make our predictions for the rest of the season. During the program, we will discuss the inspiration for the TV show along with other popular literary lady detectives, including Miss Marple and Nancy Drew.

Whether you are familiar with this series or not, come and learn about the history of female detective mysteries. There will be plenty of time to discuss all your favorite lady detectives, such as Aurora Teagarden, Hannah Swensen, Stephanie Plum, Maisie Dobbs, and the list goes on.

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for Season 4 of Miss Scarlet & the Duke, which premieres on Sunday, January 7th on PBS39.
