MCD Nature Adventures: Forest Biodiversity (W)

Manistee County Library is proud to partner with the Manistee Conservation District to present three small-group "day camps" for a limited number of students at our Manistee, Arcadia and Wellston branches. We hope to grow this program to accommodate more students next year! For this reason registration is STRICTLY REQUIRED.

These programs are targeted at children entering 3rd through 5th grade, although slightly younger and older siblings are welcome (all children need to be registered).  A parent or caregiver needs to stay for the duration of the program.

Through our investigations, we will discover creatures and plants small to large. We may undertake a bioblitz as time allows, taking journal observations as we go.  We will meet at the Wellston Library and immediately caravan to the Wellston Arboretum.  In the event of thunderstorms, we will go to the Wellston Library.  Bring water, comfortable shoes for walking, and dress for all weather conditions.
