Join us for an evening of real-life storytelling, where Michigan voices take the stage to share unforgettable moments from their lives. MI Michigan Story is a radio show, podcast, and live storytelling series that showcases authentic, personal narratives from across the state.

We're not about true crime or history lessons — we're here for the heartfelt, the funny, the surprising, and the deeply human experiences that connect us all.

Whether you're a longtime fan or new to the series, this live event at the Hastings Public Library is a chance to experience powerful storytelling in person, right in your community.

 
Interested in Telling a Story?
Everyone is welcome — whether you're a first-time storyteller or have taken the mic before.

Story Guidelines:

Ideal length: 15–20 minutes (but all lengths are welcome)
Stories must be true and personal (something you experienced yourself)
No notes required, but you’re welcome to bring them
All tones welcome — funny, heartfelt, surprising, or reflective
