Codenamed Midnight, Detroit was a vital station on the Underground Railroad. Detroit Historical Society Field Curator William Wall-Winkel will tell the story of the Detroit abolitionists who helped freedom seekers from the south evade slave catchers and local law enforcement on their way to Canada. Registration recommended.
