MNB AUTHOR VISIT: JANIE PAUL

Stair District Library was selected to host a Michigan Notable Book author! Janie Paul is one of 20 authors selected by the Library of Michigan as a Notable Book winner. Paul introduces readers to the culture and aesthetics of prison art communities, and shares heart-wrenching, poignant, and often surprisingly humorous artists’ narratives. These stories and images upend stereotypes of those living in prison, imparting a human dimension.
