Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit presents Songs for the People

Songs for the People is a concert presented by Mosaic Youth Theatre of Detroit to celebrate the power of Black music with heart-calling melodies, infectious rhythms, and soulful voices. Inspired by Frances Ellen Watkins’ poem, this fully developed concert, complete with costumes and sound, honors the resilience, triumph, and cultural impact of Black artistry, past and present, and is suitable for all ages.

Registration is required and begins December 26. Bloomfield Township residents have one week of priority registration before registration opens to all.
