January:
January 8: “Casanova Brown” starring Gary Cooper, Teresa Wright. 1941 In this hilarious romantic comedy, Gary Cooper gets a lesson in diapers and formula after stealing his child from his ex-wife (Teresa Wright), who was planning to give her up for adoption. Nominated for three Oscars for Best Art, Best Directing, Best Music. Presented by Susan Hustwick
January 15: “The Green Promise” starring Walter Brennan, Marguerite Chapman, Natalie Wood. 1949 After the Matthews family buys a farm, the father suffers a severe injury, which puts his four children in charge. Daughter Deborah and her kid sister Susan take the lead--with help from the handsome local agricultural agent. Presented by Sandy Johnson
January 22: “Half Angel” starring Loretta Young, Joseph Cotton 1951. Nurse Nora Gilpin is attracted to lawyer John Raymond whom she dislikes during the day and seduces during the night, when she sleepwalks.
January 29” “Duck Soup” starring the Marx Brothers, Margaret Dumont. 1933 Rufus T. Firefly is named the dictator of bankrupt Freedonia and declares war on neighboring Sylvania over the love of his wealthy backer Mrs. Teasdale, contending with two inept spies who can't seem to keep straight which side they're on. February:
Feb. 5: The Solid Gold Cadillac 1956 starring Judy Holliday, John Williams, Paul Douglas. Winner of the Oscar for Best costume designing. A minority stockholder takes on the crooked board of directors at a billion dollar corporation. Presented by Sandy Johnson
Feb. 12: The Gunfighter starring Gregory Peck, Helen Westcott 1950. Nominated for one Academy Award for Best Writing Motion Picture. Notorious gunfighter Jimmy Ringo rides into town to find his true love, who doesn't want to see him. He hasn't come looking for trouble, but trouble finds him around every corner. Present by Donna Jagielo
Feb. 19: Perils of Pauline 1947 starring Betty Hutton, John Lund. The real life story of actress Pearl White during her rise to fame in silent serials. Nominated for Academy Award for Best Original Song. Presented by Terry Dennison

March 5: King Kong, 1944 starring Faye Wray, Robert Armstrong. A film crew goes to a tropical island for a location shoot, where they capture a colossal ape who takes a shine to their blonde starlet, and bring him back to New York City. Presented by Donna Jagielo
March 12: No Sad Songs for Me 1950. Starring Margaret Sullivan, Wendell Corey. Mary Scott has only ten months to live before she will die of an incurable disease. She conceals the news from her husband and her daughter, but she encounters difficulties in trying to make every remaining moment of her life count. Nominated for one Oscar for Best Music scoring. Presented by Sandy Johnson
March 19: Movie Buff Awards followed by Jungle Parol, 1950. Starring Kristine Miller, Arthur Franz. A visit from a USO entertainer lifts the spirits of the pilots stationed in New Guinea, who are beginning to worry that their luck will soon run short. Presented by Terry Dennison
March 26: Cape Fear 1962 starring Gregory Peck, Robert Mitchum. A lawyer's family is stalked by a man he once helped put in jail. Presented by Susan Hustwick
April:
April 2: Its In The Bag 1945 starring, Fred Allen, Jack Benny, Don Ameche. The ringmaster of a flea circus inherits a fortune...if he can find which chair it's hidden in.
April 9: Blue Beard’s Eight Wife starring Claudette Colbert, Gary Cooper, Edwards Everett Horton. 1938 After learning her multi-millionaire fiancé has already been married seven times, the daughter of a penniless marquis decides to tame him.
April 16: Johnny Guitar starring Joan Crawford, Mercedes McCambridge, Sterling Hayden 1954. After helping a wounded gang member, a strong-willed female saloon owner is wrongly suspected of murder and bank robbery by a lynch mob.

April 30: Interrupted Meldoy 1956 starring Glen Ford, Eleanor Parker. Winner of one Oscar for Best Writing Story and Screenplay. This movie chronicles Australian-born opera star Marjorie Lawrence's success, her battle with polio, and her eventual career comeback.

May 7: Lured, 1947 starring George Sanders, Lucille Ball. British police are after a serial killer who lures his female victims through newspaper personal ads and sends cryptic poem clues to the cops.

May 21: Presenting Lily Mars, 1943 starring Judy Garland, Van Heflin, Spring Byington. Small-town Indiana girl Lily Mars dreams to be a stage actress. She begs visiting Broadway producer John Thornway for a role but he dismisses her as an amateur. She follows him to New York and worms her way into his show, and his heart.
May 28: Come Next Spring, Ann Sheridan, Steve Cochran, Walter Brennan. 1956 In 1920s Arkansas, after a 12 year absence, reformed alcoholic Matt Ballot returns to his abandoned family but has to win them back and regain his hometown's respect too.

June 11: Driftwood starring 1947 starring Ruth Warrick, Walter Brennan, young Natalie Wood. 6-year-old Jenny rescues a collie dog slated for animal experiments. Dr. Webster adopts them both, to his fiancee's chagrin. An outbreak of spotted fever sends the town into panic and Jenny is infected and about to die.
June 18: Goodbye Mr.Chips, starring Greer Garsoin, Robert Donat, Terry Wilson. 1939 An aged teacher and former headmaster of a boarding school recalls his career and his personal life over the decades. Winner of Best Actor Oscar.
June 25: Im no Angel, 1933 starring Mae West, Cary Grant. Circus performer Tira seeks a better life pursuing the company of wealthy New York men with improbable comic complications along the way.

August 9: The Wayward Bus 1957 starring Joam Collins, Jayne Mansfield, Dan Dailey. Three strangers - a stripper, an alcoholic wife and a travelling salesman - embark on a life-changing journey. As the road presents challenges, each character faces his or her own shortcomings, not knowing where life will lead next.
August 16: High Society 1956 starring Bing Crosby, Grace Kelly. Nominated for two Oscars. Original Song and Best music screenplay. With socialite Tracy Lord about to remarry, her ex-husband - with the help of a sympathetic reporter - he has 48 hours to convince her that she really still loves him.
August 20: Meet the Stuarts 1942 starring William Holden, Frances Dee. A young newlywed couple learns to make their new marriage work; trying to impress family, stay on budget, and remain as diplomatic towards each other as possible.
August 27: Sis Hopkins 1941 Starring Judy Canova, Bob Crosby, Sudan Hayward. Nominated for pone Oscar for Best Art Direction. A young girl from the "sticks" comes to the city to live with her wealthy relatives. At first she is the objection of derision and made fun of because of her unsophisticated nature, but it turns out that there's a bit more to her than most of her snooty relatives and their condescending friends think.
September:
September 3: I’m from Arkansas 1944 starring Slim Summerville, El Brendel. The national spotlight falls on Pitchfork, Arkansas when a local farmer's sow has 18 piglets. How the townspeople relate to city folk and handle fame is the ingredient for laughs. Presented by Sandy Johnson
September 10: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes 1953 Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, Charles Coburn. Showgirls Lorelei Lee and Dorothy Shaw travel to Paris, pursued by a private detective hired by the suspicious father of Lorelei's fiancé, as well as a rich, enamored old man and many other doting admirers.
September 17: Twelve Angry Men 1957 starring Henry Fonda, Lee J. Cobb. Nominated for three Oscars for Best, Picture, Best , Best Director, Best Writing. The jury in a New York City murder trial is frustrated by a single member whose skeptical caution forces them to more carefully consider the evidence before jumping to a hasty verdict.
September 24: Enchantment 1948 starring David Niven, Teresa Wright. As a young man, Rollo was kept from his true love, Lark, by the spiteful scheming of his older sister. Years later, he's pleased to see his niece and Lark's nephew falling in love amidst the uncertainty of wartime.
