Join us for a National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) kick-off write-in event on Tuesday, November 7 from 2 - 4 p.m. in your library's Jones Meeting Center. Work towards your NaNoWriMo goal of writing 50,000 words of your novel as Library staff member and your local NaNoWriMo Municipal Liaison Chenoa Patton guides you through writing exercises. Connect with other local authors and enjoy light refreshments.
Chenoa has created and written stories since she was a little girl and fully fell into being a writer 12 years ago when she started writing a historical fiction novel she intends to publish. She is the author of several fanfictions and is currently working on the novel "King's Men." Chenoa says of her writing journey, "NaNoWriMo has been a fantastic source of inspiration in the last eight years that I have participated and a continual spur to get me into the groove of writing."
