NHS Reading Buddies

Would your child benefit from a little extra reading practice?

We have partnered with the South Lyon High School National Honors Society students to provide an opportunity for your child to practice their reading.  Our NHS Reading Buddies program will pair young readers (grades K-3) with an NHS student volunteer (grades 11-12) for a 20min read-aloud session.  

This program is drop-in, no registration is required.  20 minute reading sessions will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Accompanying adults are asked to remain in the youth department for the duration of the session.
