Northville, MI

The city of Northville is located in the U.S. counties of Oakland and Wayne in Southeast Michigan. The city was named for its location in relevance to the city of Plymouth, Michigan. It is best known for its rolling hills and beautiful countryside. Northville is home to more than 6,000 people. The city was first settled in 1825 mainly by New Yorkers from Plymouth. Northville’s history consists of three major eras: Victorian, Village, and City. Every year, Northville hosts events, such as the Victorian Festival, Art in the Sun, October in the Ville, and Northville Grub Crawl. Popular attractions include Northville Cider Mill, Mill Race Historical Village, and Maybury State Park.
