The Henry Ford Centennial Library will host Mr. Matt Singer for a virtual conversation on Thursday, November 2nd at 6:30 pm regarding his new book Opposable Thumbs: How Siskel & Ebert Changed Movies Forever.
Mr. Singer has written the first dual biography of the two men who defied conventional wisdom and altered the course of movies, television, and pop culture. In Opposable Thumbs: How Siskel and Ebert Changed Movies Forever), Singer shares the fascinating account of how a pair of hyper-competitive journalists emerged as the most famous and influential film critics in history.
Witty, well-paced, and meticulously researched, Opposable Thumbs traces the evolution of Siskel & Ebert, the groundbreaking series that changed the way we watch and appreciate movies.
