Ottawa County Parks: Meadow Predators - Dragonflies and Praying Mantis

Join us on Thursday, August 8, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, as Ottawa County Parks naturalist Curtis Dykstra gives a presentation on "Meadow Predators—Dragonflies and Praying Mantis."

Meadows are a dangerous place to live…if you’re an insect!  Dwelling there are some of the most efficient and ferocious predators in the animal world:  Dragonflies and Praying Mantis’.  Find out how they make a predator’s living in the minuscule world of the meadow and be introduced to the locally common species.
