Oxford Cemetery Tour

The Northeast Oakland Historical Society is proud to announce a unique and immersive cemetery tour, featuring the historic 100-year-old mausoleum located in the heart of the Oxford Cemetery.

This special event is set to take place on September 22, 2024, and will provide attendees with a rare glimpse into the rich history and stories behind one of Oxford's most significant landmarks.

The tour will guide visitors through the cemetery, highlighting the lives of notable figures who helped shape the community. The centerpiece of the tour is the grand mausoleum, which stands as a testament to the craftsmanship and architectural style of the early 20th century. With its intricate stonework and storied past, the mausoleum has become an iconic symbol of Oxford's heritage.

In addition to exploring the mausoleum, the tour will feature engaging stories, told from the Northeast Oakland Historical Society members in character, providing insights into the lives of those interred within the cemetery.
