Plainwell, MI
Known as “The Island City”, Plainwell is a city in Allegan County with a population of over 3,800. The Kalamazoo Gazette named the city one of Southwest Michigan’s Seven Wonders. There is no other community in the United States named Plainwell. The city has seven parks and seven bridges and you must take one of them in order to reach the downtown area. Some fun things to do in Plainwell are River Bend Yoga, The Calico Rabbit Marketplace Central, and Plainwell Kayak Company. The city hosts annual events such as Art Hop, Concerts in the Park, and Tree Lighting Celebration.
