Plymouth Township, MI

Plymouth Township is a charter township of Wayne County in Southeast Michigan. The township is 30 minutes from Detroit and only 20 minutes from Ann Arbor. According to the 2010 census, Plymouth has 27,524 residents. The township was home to the Plymouth Whalers, who were one of three American hockey teams to participate in the Ontario Hockey League. The Whalers later became the Flint Firebirds. Some fun things to do include: Kellogg Park, Penn Theatre, and Plymouth Historical Museum. Annual events are Showcase and Taste of Plymouth, Music in the Air, and the Good Morning USA Parade.
