Developmental Youth Theater program with weekly workshop-style rehearsals on Sundays at the PCAC. Final season performances (2) will be at Tipping Point Theatre in Northville. Students will learn theater basics and how to command the stage, voice and body acting, blocking, set, costume and prop design/selection. They will play theater games and do team-building activities to enhance their cohesiveness as a cast.
PUPS Fall 2016 Theater Season Auditions will be held at the Plymouth Community Arts Council on Sunday, September 18th beginning at 5:30pm until 7:30pm. Actors Ages 5 - 15 (kindergarten through 9th grade) will meet in small groups for 20 minutes with the director, Sonja Marquis.
The program costs $200, with current PCAC student membership ($30), good for a year. Tuition includes 2 tickets per actor for final performance. Parent participation is welcome during tech week and final performances, but always optional and not a requirement for this program.
