Open for discovery. Portage District Library is supported by a millage paid by tax payers in the City of Portage and Portage Public School District. The Library is governed by an elected board and run by nearly fifty full and part-time employees. They are assisted by many volunteers from the community. PDL strives to: Optimize access to resources for information, education, and entertainment Be a safe, welcoming, inclusive destination for families and individuals Be a leader in strengthening our community Be a community center to experience and explore local arts and culture
