Prime Time Family Reading Time

Warren Public Library is pleased to offer Prime Time Family Reading Time, a free six-week program. Each session includes a free meal, storytelling, and a book discussion to promote critical thinking skills. At the end of each session, each family will receive a copy of one of the books read, as well as a chance to win door prizes. Younger siblings are welcome; they will be supervised and participate in their own special activities. Transportation can be provided if needed.

This program will be held at Wiegand Park, 8700 Toepfer Road (between 8 and 9 Mile Roads and between Van Dyke Avenue and Hoover Road). Please note that registration is required; drop-ins will not be permitted to participate. Dinner will be served at picnic tables in the pavilion, but attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for the storytelling/book discussion portion of the program. 

Due to limited resources, we will accept newcomers first, and those who have participated in the past will be added to our waitlist. Prime Time Family Reading Time in Warren is funded in part by Michigan Humanities, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
