Children can read to a therapy dog at the library to help build confidence, calm anxiety about reading out loud, and improve their reading skills. Athena is a certified therapy dog with a calm, friendly personality. Non-readers are welcome. Register for a 15 minute time slot at Mohawk Community Library or call 419-927-2407 by Monday, August 17.
