Rochester Hills, MI

Rochester Hills is a city in Southeastern Michigan. It has a population of 70,995 people and consists of two communities: Stoney Creek and Yates. The area was first settled by the Potawatomi Native Americans. It was previously Avon Township until 1984 when it became the City of Rochester Hills. The city is named for its historic ties to the neighboring city of Rochester and its abundant rolling hills. Some fun things to do in the city include the Museum at Van Hoosen Farm, Meadow Brook Hall, and Yates Cider Mill.
