Have you ever wished that you could make your own video game or create your own animation? The good news is that you can! For this activity we will be using Scratch to show you how to make some cool art.
Scratch is a way to program your own animations, games, or interactive stories. It is tailor made for children aged 8-16, but people of all ages can use Scratch. It is provided for free by the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab.
Our project we will be making is called Space Rainbow. We will give you step by step instructions to follow and provide you with links and instructions to extend your project if you wish. All you need to do is go to http:\\scratch.mit.edu in your web browser, or you can download the stand alone app for Windows, MacOS, ChromeOS, or Android.
