Seekers Book Club: Devil in the Grove

On Thursday, November 16 at 6:30 p.m., ages 18 and older are invited to Seekers Book Club to discuss Devil in the Grove: Thurgood Marshall, the Groveland Boys, and the Dawn of a New America by Gilbert King. The group meets at the Langston Centre (315 Elm Street, Johnson City) on the third Thursday of every month.

Registration is required; call the Langston Centre at (423) 434-5785 to register and learn more. A few copies of Devil in the Grove will be available to the first registrants who sign up.

Seekers Book Club is a monthly book discussion group that reads classic and contemporary works by African American authors. The series is a partnership between Johnson City Public Library and the Langston Centre.
