Seekers Book Club: Turn Me Loose

On Thursday, October 19 at 6:30 p.m., ages 18 and older are invited to Seekers Book Club to discuss Turn Me Loose: The Unghosting of Medgar Evers by Frank X Walker. The group meets at the Langston Centre (315 Elm Street, Johnson City) on the third Thursday of every month.

Registration is required; call the Langston Centre at (423) 434-5785 to register and learn more. A few copies of Turn Me Loose will be available to the first registrants who sign up.

Seekers Book Club is a monthly book discussion group that reads classic and contemporary works by African American authors. The series is a partnership between Johnson City Public Library and the Langston Centre.
