Celebrate 50 years of Hip Hop Silent Disco featuring DJBoogie!” Tuesday, June 13 5:30-7:30 pm | POW/DCA Community Room

Fifty years ago, 18-year-old Jamaican American DJ Clive Campbell, aka DJ Kool Herc, hooked up two turntables and a microphone for a "Back to School Jam", hosted by Clive and his younger sister Cindy in Summer 1973, at Sedgwick Avenue in the Bronx. Join us for a silent disco party with Kalamazoo's own DJ Boogie in the newly renovated Douglass Community Room. Refreshments will be served
