Borderline (1930) starring Paul Robeson was filmed entirely in Territet, Switzerland. A ground breaking film in its portrayal of an inter-racial marriage. Borderline, is also stylistically important in its use of avant-garde film making techniques. Eslanda Robeson also stars, directed by Kenneth Macpherson.
