(Smart Towns) China's Past & Present

Joy Jiang, associate professor of management at Oakland University, discusses how China's history has shaped its culture and how the country's cultural values interact with political and economic reforms, resulting in the quick rise of China in the past 40 years. What happened in China and where the country will go from here will impact the world. 

Smart Towns is a lifelong learning program for everyone in the community led by Ascension Providence Rochester Hospital, Oakland University, Rochester University, Rochester-Avon Historical Society, Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm, and Rochester Hills Public Library.
