Sojourner Truth

The Carnegie Public Library of East Liverpool Ohio with The Friends of The Library Presents Sojourner Truth: A women of passion, purpose, and presence. Sojourner Truth was born into slavery in 1797 and became a noteworthy 19th century abolitionist and women's rights activist. She is famously known for her speech "Aint I a Woman?" given at the Ohio Women's Rights Convention in 1851 in Akron, Ohio. Hosted by Eddie Murphy. All are welcome!
