Soul Line Dancing

The Soul Line Dance class offers an enjoyable way to stay active and incorporate cardio into your routine. We begin with a thorough stretching routine to prepare our bodies for the dances ahead.

During the first hour, I'll guide you through beginner-friendly dances suitable for everyone. These pre-choreographed dances come from talented choreographers across the United States, including myself. Modifications are available for those who may need them.

In the second part of the class, we'll transition into a more dynamic phase. Here, we'll continue with choreographed dances, focusing on building cardio fitness, having fun, and relieving stress. We'll also incorporate a "free dance" segment, allowing you to practice the learned dances and explore others based on participants' preferences.

About the instructor: Carrie began her journey with dance in childhood, but her focus on Soul Line Dance took root in 2016 when she embarked on this path professionally. Her initial steps into this world commenced in Arizona, where she joined a remarkable group known as "Shades of Distinction." Since then, Soul Line Dance has been more than just a physical activity for her; it has become a profound source of mental well-being and personal growth.

Her experiences with dance have been transformative, enriching her life in numerous ways. Now, she's eager to extend these benefits to others and share the joy, vitality, and sense of community that Soul Line Dance brings.

Everyone is welcome, no library card required.
