It was an age of conflict. It was an age of love. Join us for a trip back in time as our seniors celebrate the 1960’s in a new original music review. This decade was a tumultuous time for our country. Women, African Americans, Native Americans and other marginalized communities continued their fight for equality, and many Americans joined the protest against the ongoing war in Vietnam. During these decades of extremes, Americans were wearing GoGo Boots and hot pants, discovering Andy Warhol and Pop Art, traveling to Woodstock and gathering around the TV on Saturday night to watch ‘Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In’ and ‘I Spy.’ And the music! I Heard it Through the Grapevine, Mr. Tambourine Man, and Walk on By played from stereo systems around the world. This tune filled musical review is sure to take you back to that time in your life and maybe even introduce a new generation to the Age of Aquarius!
