Stage Nature Center
Troy Nature Society (TNS) is a 501(c)(3) organization and operates the Stage Nature Center in Troy, MI, providing educational programs to understand the natural world and its stewardship. Stage Nature Center is Troy's only nature center and is home to over 100 acres of natural Michigan woodlands, marshland and visitors can even get a glimpse of the Rough river that winds its way through our preserve.
Walking the nature center trails, visitors will experience a tranquility that comes with spending time in nature among abundant wildlife and lush landscapes. Our Blackbird and Bluebird loops are a favorite of wildlife enthusiasts and "birders". Along Fox trail you are likely to see one of the white tail deer that frequently visit our preserve.
On the grounds of the nature center is a large nature interpretive building that houses a mastadon pit, childrens play area, nature library, thriving bee hive, small reptiles and educational wildlife displays.
