Student Librarian Program Application Period

Become a Student Librarian at the Springfield Township Library!

Calling all book enthusiasts in Grades 4 and 5! Step into the shoes of a librarian and create a book display to be shared with our community. 

What you will do: Design a themed book display for the children's section. Select and showcase your top book picks. Collaborate with a librarian to bring your vision to life. Get a behind the scenes tour to see how books are prepared for circulation. 

Why join? Develop leadership and organizational skills. Express your creativity and passion for reading. Inspire other young readers with your selections. 

Selected Student Librarians will be featured on our website and social media sites. Their selections will be displayed in the library for two weeks. 

How to apply: Submit this application. One applicant will be selected monthly between September 2025 and May 2026. 

Ages: Grades 4 and 5

Registration: Apply at the link above from June 15 through September 15 for a chance to be selected as Student Librarian!
