Summer Hike - Old Mine Rd/ 3 Lakes Trail Loop

For our second summer hike, we will be hiking the Old Mine Road and Three Lakes Trail Loop in Fahnestock State Park.  This is a fairly easy hike of 3.7 miles.

Park at the first trailhead parking lot on the left hand side of the road on Dennytown Road off of 301.  Use these coordinates to find the parking lot.  (41.4273299, -73.8684577)

Make sure to bring water and dress in weather-appropriate layers.  Hiking boots and shoes are encouraged.  If you use trekking poles, make sure to bring them.  It is tick season, so please consider wearing long sleeves and taking other precautions against ticks.   In the event of inclement weather, the hike will be postponed.

This program is open to patrons of all ages.  Registration is required.
