Summer Reading Kickoff

Get ready to stomp, road, and explore because this summer reading is going to be prehistoric! 

Join us for our favorite day of the year at the Puskarich Library 2026 Summer Reading Kickoff from 5:30–7:30 PM. This family-friendly event is the perfect way to launch a summer full of reading, creativity, and fun.

Enjoy a lively atmosphere featuring crafts, games, and hands-on activities hosted by over 20 local community organizations, giving kids and families plenty to explore and discover. Treat yourself to delicious ice cream from Dairy Jean and incredible food from 740 BBQ for purchase, plus our Puskarich Friends of the Library will have classic favorites like snow cones, hot dogs, and fresh popcorn for free.

Kids can get their faces painted, play games, do crafts and activities, and dive into all the excitement while families can register for the Summer Reading Program and learn about everything we have planned for the season ahead.

There’s something for everyone, so bring your friends, bring your family, and get ready to kick off summer with an evening full of fun, food, and community spirit.
