Summer Reading Program for Kids!

Birth through Grade 5. Registration required. Sponsored by the Friends of the Springfield Township Library. June 1 - July 31. Registration starts May 11. The Kids Summer Reading Program itself begins June 1 when you can begin logging your reading minutes. Students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 are challenged to read for 800 minutes between June 1 and July 31. Younger children will have fun completing a literacy activities game board. Logs for each will be available on our website starting June 1. Complete the challenge by July 31 to earn a book! Reading minutes can also be earned by attending any of our summer events or reading groups: Meet a real paleontologist, create a stop-motion video, Enjoy a character creation workshop and more!
