Unleashing joy through our therapy dog program!

Certified therapy dogs bring wagging tails and soothing companionship to every generation!  Kids, teens, and adults are welcome to sign up for a 15-minute visit with one of our therapy dogs.  Young readers can boost their reading confidences by reading to a dog; teens and adults may benefit from the comforting presence of our canine companions.

Registration Required

Upon successful registration, please keep in mind the following: you should arrive at least 5 minutes early for your time slot. You should also already have your reading materials prepared/selected. If you do not have reading materials, plan to arrive 10 minutes early to select your materials. All appointments will end as scheduled, despite arrival time. If you are more than 5 minutes late we will move on to the next appointment. If you end up not being able to make your appointment, please call the library at 248-846-6550 to let us know. Thank you!
