Taylor, MI

Taylor is a city located in Wayne County in Southeast Michigan and is part of the Downriver Community. It is the 17th most populous city in Michigan and the 543th in the U.S. with a population of 63,131 at the time of 2010 census. The city was originally known as Taylor Township until became the City of Taylor in 1968. Taylor was named after the twelfth U.S. president, Zachary Taylor. The city is the birthplace of Hungry Howie’s Pizza. Popular destinations include Heritage Park, Lakes of Taylor Golf Club, and Midway Sports & Entertainment.
