Join us for a cooking lesson at the Marquette Food Coop.  Explore a new kind of food and build your cooking skills.

Class will be held in the lower level of the Marquette Food Co-op.

Unearth a Food Story: Samosas & Chutneys

Every recipe has a story to tell, and the samosa is a tasty one! In this hands-on cooking class, participants will hear about the history of the samosa, a popular snack whose journey spans centuries, cultures, and continents. We'll make crispy samosas from scratch and create two flavorful chutneys for dipping while learning about how this food became a favorite in India and beyond.

Allergen information: this class is vegan and contains wheat. A gluten free option can be provided if you notify Peter White Public Library when you register.

Registration required, please only register for one session. 

This class will be at 10 am.

For students entering grades 6-12.
