The Assassination of President Lincoln

Local historian Jerry Zaetta will bring to life the events and people involved in the killing of our country's most beloved president. Who was John Wilkes Booth and his co-conspirators? Why did they kill the President when the Civil War had already ended? What was their full plan? The escape route used? Who else was involved and what might have happened to our nation had Lincoln not been assassinated? Bring your interest, bring your questions and bring your theories and join us for an evening of historic reflection. No registration needed.
