The Paintings of Marilyn Nichols and Jean Saliter

Marilyn Nichols is a self-taught painter from Millerton, NY, who works in acrylics and oils. Her work covers the themes of women, summertime memories, and abstract design. She is happy and excited to share what she done with you.

Jean Saliter is a native of Sharon Mountain, in Sharon, CT. Since childhood,  through art school to present day, Jean has always kept a keen eye on nature. She had her first solo show in 2021, premiering a new technique she developed using watercolors and inks. The success from that first show at Noble Horizons’ TLC Gallery acted as a springboard for larger works and more prominent projects. In this collaboration with Marylin Nichols, Jean has small studies of local flora and fauna. These are all original works on watercolor paper, mounted and matted and wrapped in a cello sleeve, offered for $25 each. A portion of sales will be donated to the Library.
