The People of the Three Fires

Join us on Tuesday October 24th at 6pm for an all ages learning event, THE PEOPLE OF THE THREE FIRES, presented by the Metroparks.

Participants will explore the lives of pre-statehood Ojibwa, Odawa and Potawatomi peoples during this hands-on program. Our presenter uses artifacts, replicas, graphics, and interactive activities to help students discover American Indian lifeways, tools, technologies, and modern language contributions. Participants will try their hands at drilling holes with replicas of precontact pump drills.
