The Poetry and Music of Jim Morrison

During his twenty-seven year life span, Jim Morrison proved himself to be an extraordinary artist in the realms of both music and poetry.  From his high school days as a budding poet, to the formation of the Doors in 1965, until his untimely death in Paris on July 3, 1971, Jim Morrison lived life to the fullest and inspired generations of writers and musicians with his craftsmanship.
