Join Nancy Patterson Lamb and Katie Lamb on Saturday, June 10 at 2pm. in the Jones Meeting Room to learn about Iron Mountain Stoneware.

Nancy Patterson Lamb is the co-founder of Iron Mountain Stoneware. Iron Mountain, once located in Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, produced handmade stone dinnerware from 1965 until its closure in 1992. After three decades of production and three decades since Iron Mountain's closure, Lamb and her fellow artists' uniquely Appalachian dinnerware is still revered as mastery of the craft.

Before opening Iron Mountain Stoneware, Lamb traveled throughout Asia, the Middle East, and Europe learning and teaching international methods of her craft. In recent years, she has compiled these stories and experiences into a book, A Journey with Clay.
