Through Her Eyes: Women photographers at the DIA

In celebration of Women's History Month, we'll be talking about powerful and influential women photographers, and making our own photo coasters.

Join us for a presentation by the Detroit Institute of Art to take an in-depth look at the impact of art photography by some of the leading women artists in the 19th and 20th centuries. The evening kicks off at 5:30pm when we'll be using our own artistic skills to make photo coasters. If you are interested in making a coaster make sure to bring at least two photos to the library. The DIA presentation starts at 6:30pm.
