For this Thursday's craft, we will be making an Ojo de Dios.
Ojo de Dios, or God's Eye, is an object traditionally made by Indigenous peoples as a symbol of protection, prayer, and the power to see unseen things. The Huichol of Mexico would add layers of yarn for a new born until they are five years old as a prayer for health and long life.
This event is meant to be an educational and entertainment only!
