TomatoFest

Have you ever eaten a home-grown tomato? Those hydroponic ones are fine, but nothing beats the real thing.

Join us for an evening of tomato sampling.  The format is simple: some plates and napkins, a few salt shakers, and some favorite recipes to share. We'll slice the tomatoes and everyone can try.

Here at the library, we have at least 10 varieties, and home-growers, you are cordially invited to bring your own tomatoes to share. We welcome all grape/cherry tomatoes, paste tomatoes, slicers and beefsteaks! We also welcome tomato recipes (We'll make copies for you to hand out).

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. The event will be held outside, weather permitting, so please dress appropriately.
