Differences in human behavior patterns create natural obstacles to clear interpersonal communication blocking understanding between individuals of different personality types. True Colors provides a clear, fundamental, and universal way of translating complicated individual perspectives to help overcome the barriers to progress. Based on the Meyers-Briggs Type Indicator, True Colors offers a research-based approach to understanding human behavior and motivation. Facilitated by Jessica Tefft, True Colors uses a metaphor of colors (Orange, Gold, Green, and Blue) to identify four distinct perspectives and personalities. The significance you give each of the four True Colors constitutes the balance within your character spectrum. Knowing your primary and secondary “colors” will provide you clues to the basis of your self-esteem, your strengths, joys, needs, and the sources of your stress and frustration
This True Colors workshop provides a fun and easy to remember way for the participants to explore their own and their co-workers distinctive personality traits. Participants will learn to respect and appreciate those differences in the ways people function. This translates into better work relationships, improved teamwork and more communication.
