Turtles are some of the oldest living reptiles and also some of the most fascinating and beloved. Speaking of love, June is peak turtle mating month! Join naturalist Elle Bogle for a morning hike at Independence Lake County Park to wander the wetlands for a glimpse of these ancient, fascinating animals. We will learn all about these creatures while we look for them among the marshes, ponds, and the lake. Please bring binoculars if you have them.
Registration is required. This event will happen at Independence Lake.
