Wartime Drinking

Everyone knows that Prohibition had a big impact on how American drank. But it wasn't very long after Prohibition ended that the United States entered World War II. This had a profound impact on not only what we drank but also how we drank, especially in the decades that followed. This presentation will feature a variety of cocktails that will help us look at surprising and long-lasting impacts of the war. You'll get a sheet full of recipes to take home and mix later, and you'll get to sample a non-alcoholic cocktail or two as you learn some basic cocktail mixing techniques. *Registration is required.
