Families are invited to learn about critters of Appalachia with animal rehabilitator Vanessa Hawley on Tuesday, August 20 at 6 p.m. in King Commons Natural Adventure Area* across from the Library. Hawley, an educator with Green Valley Wildlife, has over 12 years of experience in local wildlife rehabilitation. Her interactive presentation will include an introduction to the significance of animals for our environment, tips for making your backyard a wildlife sanctuary, and a meet-and-greet with some of our region's wild critters.
